A 10 de setembro celebramos os 270 anos da Região Demarcada do Douro e o Dia Internacional do Vinho do Porto! 🍷 Neste dia, em 1756, foi definida a demarcação da região que viria a ser pioneira no universo vitivinícola. Em 2014, esta data passou também a assinalar o Port Wine Day, dedicado a um vinho profundamente ligado à história e à identidade do Douro. Neste vídeo, Natália Fauvrelle, Coordenadora dos Serviços de Museologia do Museu do Douro, leva-nos até às origens desta demarcação e ajuda-nos a compreender a importância de um marco que continua a definir a região 270 anos depois. Feliz Port Wine Day! 🍇 — On 10 September, we celebrate the 270th anniversary of the Douro Demarcated Region and International Port Wine Day! 🍷 On this day in 1756, the boundaries of the region that would go on to become a pioneer in the world of wine were defined. In 2014, this date also came to mark Port Wine Day, dedicated to a wine deeply linked to the history and identity of the Douro. In this video, Natália Fauvrelle, Coordinator of Museology Services at the Douro Museum, takes us back to the origins of this demarcation and helps us understand the importance of a milestone that continues to define the region 270 years later.
